BHI Doors

For 60 years, Builders Hardware, Inc. has been opening doors for Florida’s residential home builders and remodelers.

In 1963 we started out as a residential hardware wholesaler, then over time as we expanded our service area we began to take on the role of distributor for some of our larger vendors. Eventually, BHI started distributing exterior doors, door glass, and other door system components as well. After years of growing in sales and product knowledge in those areas, and after assembling an impressive selection of best-in-class components, BHI began to manufacture our own unique Pre-Hung Entry Door System specifically built to stand the tests of time in Florida’s often unforgiving climate.

Since then, our PH Entry System production has become an ever-increasing portion of our business, as our dealers around the state have become accustomed to our quality and excellent service. Of course, BHI has also continued to expand and improve on our hardware and components distribution operations as well. We pride ourselves on exceeding our customers’ expectations on both sides of our business.

In April of 2022, BHI was purchased by Trimlite, LLC. Since 1983, Trimlite has been a manufacturer and distribution of both exterior and interior doors, as well as decorative door glass and millwork products for the building materials industry.

With this changes comes an expanded product offering from BHI, as Trimlite door glass designs, interior doors, and more will now be available. PH Interior Door Systems will also be a part of what we manufacture in our production facility. With all this also comes a re-branding of Builders Hardware, Inc. to BHI Doors!
